JobRoost by OddLeaf
Terms of Use
Effective: 16 October 2026 · Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the JobRoost Android app and these website pages, provided by OddLeaf. For support or questions, contact Oddleafdev@hotmail.com.
1. Using JobRoost
JobRoost is a business organiser for managing customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, payment records and business costs. You may use it for your own lawful personal or business purposes. Do not misuse the app, access another person's data without permission or use it to create fraudulent records.
2. Your records and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the information and documents you enter. Make sure you have a lawful reason to hold customer, worker and other people's information, keep it accurate, and share it only with appropriate recipients. You are responsible for your business's work, prices, tax obligations, customer agreements and record-retention requirements.
Check dates, amounts, taxes, currencies, billable time and recipient details before relying on or sending a document. JobRoost's timer and calculations assist your record keeping; they do not replace your review. The app records payments but does not move money or provide banking, tax, legal or financial advice.
3. Backups and third-party services
Your working records are stored locally. Keep suitable backups, especially before changing devices, clearing app storage or uninstalling. Optional Google Drive backup depends on your Google account, permissions, connectivity and Google's service. It is not a live multi-device collaboration service and is not a guarantee against data loss.
A restore replaces local data with the selected backup, and later backups can replace an earlier cloud copy. Check which account and copy you are using. External sharing apps, Google services and Android features have their own terms and availability.
4. Privacy
The JobRoost Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional Google access, backup, permissions, sharing and deletion. You do not need to create an OddLeaf account to use the core app.
5. App ownership
JobRoost's name, branding and original software belong to OddLeaf or their respective rights holders. Your permission to use the app does not transfer ownership of that software or branding. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licences. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law gives you.
6. Availability and updates
OddLeaf may release fixes and updates. Features can depend on your app version and device. We aim to keep JobRoost useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or an error-free service. Test versions may contain unfinished features or faults. Contact us if you find a problem and keep independent copies of important records.
7. Your legal rights
These terms do not exclude or restrict rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. They do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that the law does not allow to be excluded.
8. Stopping use and changes to these terms
You can stop using JobRoost at any time. Export or back up any records you need before removing the app, and manage cloud copies separately as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. Updates do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
